Massimo Rattalino’s professional history starts far from Barbaresco’s vineyards, but with its prestigious hills is love at first sight, and the infatuation is so intense it persuades him to settle down and make the Langhe region his new home. It is here, surrounded by the spectacular vineyards of Montestefano, that his dream to become a winemaker begins to shape, and with the desire of growing exceptional grapes to which add elegance and character through a careful vinification. 

It is impossible not to identify Massimo Rattalino with Barbaresco, a noble, historical wine that manages to make his way in the newest and most demanding markets, but the attention for territory, the true protagonist of viticolture, brings him to give other indigenous grapes, such as Arneis, Barbera, Dolcetto and Moscato, the credit they deserve.
In his “Linea Innovazione”, Massimo’s goal is to create dynamic and pleasant wines that combine high quality and respect for tradition with a taste of innovation.
